APARTMENT GENERAL INFORMATION & RULES

A 1930s art deco building, the Lux Apartments offer comfort and luxury just as the name suggests. Originally brought to the city and operated by Lucifer Morningstar, the devil himself, it is currently owned by Magnus Lightwood-Bane. Magnus splits landlord duties with his husband, Alec, who is a member of the Perimeter Guard and unofficial security for the apartment building. Other resident muscles include Alec's sister, Izzy, and his parabatai, Jace Herondale.

The ground floor of the building serves as the lobby for both the apartments as well as the Lux nightclub which occupies half of the ground floor as well as a partial basement. The building offers several amenities including a pool and outdoor lounge area in a gated backyard as well as a small private gym on the second floor. There are several elevators for maximum efficiency, including a private elevator for residents of the top three floors.

The Lux building offers a variety of apartment options from single studios with small kitchenettes to full apartments with two-to-three bedrooms. All of the apartments come furnished unless renters prefer a blank canvas to work with upon moving in. A variety of decor styles are available, from minimalist industrial to soft bohemian and, of course, art deco as a tribute to the building itself. (Feel free to refer to the visuals section for some inspiration for your own interior design! But these are by no means restrictions.)
